Air conditioning
Most hotels, mostly 3 stars and more, have air conditioning room.

Soundproofing
Most hotels located on noisy roads have a soundproof system / double glazed windows in their rooms.

Television
99.9% of the hotels have a television in their rooms; more and more often it is flat screen with satellite channels. In high end hotels, you can also find a CD or DVD player, as well as a video on demand system.

Mini bar
You'll easily find a hotel with a mini bar, even more from 3 stars and up, while in 4 star hotels it is improbable not to have a mini bar.

Courtesy tray
Parisian hotels don't offer a courtesy tray that often yet. Courtesy tray can be found mostly in chain hotels, like Best Western hotels and is rarer in independent facilities.

Bathroom
From 3 star hotels and up, you are assured to have an en-suite bathroom with a shower or a bathtub and most of the time a hair dryer. In lower categories, most hotels have rooms with private bathrooms. Sometimes bathrooms can be shared, but it is then written in the description of the room.

Pets
Pets are not always welcomed in hotels. If this is the case, it is written on the hotel page; extra charges can be added for your dog or your cat.
