Parisians hotels offer many facilities, below a list of what you can expect Credit card
All hotels (even if there are some rare exceptions) accept credit card payment. Therefore, you won't have any trouble paying for your room with your Visa or Eurocard /Mastercard or even American Express. On the other hand, Diner's Club and JCB card are rarely accepted.

24 hours a day reception
It is very rare for a hotel not to have at least a night watchman to welcome you anytime. On the other hand, if you need to check-in late, think about letting the hotel know before hand.

Catering
A hotel with a restaurant in Paris is not that frequent. Most of the time, only big facilities from hotel chains have a restaurant. Even though, there are some exceptions: some small or medium size hotels (under 150 rooms) can have a restaurant. On the other hand, many hotels have a bar. The bar can either be for hotel clients only or open to anyone.

A wide majority of hotels offer a breakfast service, and very often it can also be room serviced in your room, even in 2 star hotels. Depending on the category of the hotel, breakfast can be a buffet or continental.

Safe
It is not rare to find a hotel with a safe at the reception desk. From 3 stars and up, hotels have most of the time safes in their rooms.

Swimming pool, hammam, sauna and spa
A hotel with a swimming pool is very rare in Paris. Therefore, some hotels have an indoor pool. Finding a sauna, turkish bath or even a spa is a bit more frequent. From 2 star facilities and up, you can find hotels with these services. It is the same for hotels with a gym and fitness equipment.

Laundry service
Even if it's not frequent, it's not rare to find a laundry service in Parisian hotels. Most of the time, an outside company is subcontracted.

Lift and disabled access
A lift in a hotel is quiet frequent when the facility is located in a building with many floors. A liftless hotel can still accommodate disabled people thanks to ground floor rooms. On the other hand, even if the hotel has a lift it may not have rooms accessible on a wheelchair.

Internet access
More and more hotels in Paris have a Wi-Fi internet connection, accessible from the rooms, and most of the time now it is free.

Parking
Paris has many public underground parking lots. These parking lots are not free but have the benefit to have fares for long hours when parking in the street is most of the time limited to 2 hours. Some hotels can have different solutions to park your car: the hotel can have some parking spaces with discount fare in a public parking lots or have spaces in a private parking located closed by or rarely it can have its very own parking lot.
