Some hotels don’t have to make a fuss to draw all the attention and create interest. A place, a location can sometimes be enough… the staff will do the rest.
Therefore, the hotel shouldn’t settle for this gift from the sky, offering an exceptional location probably envied by many of its colleagues, otherwise the fruit could be rotten from the inside. Hotels must all they can so their clients know the reason why they came and why they will come back. A unique address combined to a service and art of reception, no doubt this is one of the key for success.

Who talk about luxury ?

As 2 stars can be enough to offer this picture to visitors… The hotel du Quai Voltaire doesn’t have more than that on its facade. You probably won’t be welcomed as you’d be in a palace, but you’ll be warmly welcomed and in a professional way.

As soon as you’ll be in your room, open the windows and enjoy. Right down there, the river Seine: the Pont du Carrousel and the Pont Royal step over and the secondhand bookseller on its banks. In front of you, the Louvre and the Jardin des Tuileries. A few yards away on your left, the Musee d’Orsay and behind you Saint Germain des Pres. There’s nothing more to ask. You’ll probably forget to turn the TV on in your room, which is convenient as there is no television in your room (but one will be added to your room for free if you ask for it).

Of course, this facility can seem a bit expensive compared to other hotels from Saint Germain des Pres, but the difference can definitely be worth it.

And if you truly like the view, but like the Right Bank better, why not a 4 star hotel ? Then stop in the hotel Brighton that is almost across the hotel du Quai Voltaire, but on rue de Rivoli side.
